Macau Casino Q1 Total 90 Voluntary Exclusion Bids

In the first three months of 2016, Macau received a total of 90 voluntary casino exclusion requests.

A total of 355 exclusion requests were registered in 2015, the city's casino regulator, the Game Inspection Coordination Bureau, said.

According to the data, there were 86 cases of self-exclusion in the first quarter of 2016, and the remaining four cases were applied by third parties, including family members.

The figures do not reveal how many Macau residents participated in the voluntary casino exclusion plan. Anyone must agree to be added to the exclusion list in writing, regardless of whether a family member applies directly or requests it.

The number of casino exclusion requests in Macau has been increasing every year since the system was introduced in November 2012. In 2013, a total of 276 requests were received, and the following year it increased to 280. In 2015, requests increased by 27% year-on-year.

Anyone can apply for access to the Macau casino. The maximum exclusion period is 2 years, but can be extended. Applicants may apply for exclusion from all or some casinos. Those who fail to comply with the exclusion order can face up to one year in prison or a fine.

Data from the Bureau of Game Inspection and Coordination did not specify how many requests were made to exclude active casinos in Macau at the end of the first quarter of 2016. 무료 슬롯
