Just when you think things are starting to get back to normal comes news of the new Las Vegas casino closures. Park MGM will temporarily close midweek as tourism slows down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Park MGM hotel reopened on Sept. 30 after the coronavirus shutdown. The Review-Journal reports that the hotel will be closed Monday through Thursday noon, citing a letter to employees at MGM Resorts

Las Vegas casinos are also closed during the week. Encore at the Wynn resort will also be closed Monday through Thursday, according to the report. Two Casar Entertainment accommodations, LINQ Hotel and Experience and Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, accept weekend hotel bookings only. Meanwhile, NoMad Las Vegas, another MGM hotel located on the upper floors of the Park MGM building, will remain open midweek, according to the report. Other hotel facilities, such as casinos, swimming pools, restaurants, and amenities, will also remain open.
